Sanford M. Rosenberg M.D. is a subspecialty board certified Reproductive Endocrinologist and Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Rosenberg is a member of the American Fertility Society and charter member of both the Society of Reproductive Endocrinologists and the Society of Reproductive Surgeons. He is also a member of the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (S.A.R.T.) and is proud to have served as President of the Richmond OB/GYN Society. Dr. Rosenberg was the founder and first Director of the In-Vitro fertilization program at the Medical College of Virginia where he joined the faculty in 1980. From 1985 to 1998 he was the director of the Henrico Doctor's Hospital IVF/GIFT/ZIFT program. Now he and his associate Dr. Geof Tidey are two of the co-directors of the Virginia IVF and Andrology Center located in Richmond at Stony Point. Dr. Rosenberg is also the author of many articles and book chapters on topics in infertility. Because of his standing in the medical community, our Center has been selected to participate in a large number of clinical trials to evaluate new medications and treatments for infertility including prevention of pelvic adhesions, ovulation induction and male infertility. curriculum vitae |
Dr. Geof Tidey is a board-certified Reproductive Endocrinologist and Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He is also a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the Society of Reproductive Endocrinologists. A Richmond native, he was an Echols Scholar at the University of Virginia and received his M.D. from the Medical College of Virginia. He came to us from the faculty of the University of Texas.
